About the game

Fight against the tyrannical Sun King Azra in a unique fantasy roguelite beat ’em up that combines fast-paced arcade brawler combat, permanent character progression, cooperative multiplayer, and stunning hand-crafted animation. Absolum is an upcoming fantasy roguelite beat ’em up developed by Guard Crush Games, Supamonks, and Dotemu. Set in the world of Talamh, the game follows a group of rebels fighting against the oppressive rule of Sun King Azra, who seized power after a magical catastrophe devastated the realm. As powerful heroes with unique abilities, players must battle through dangerous regions, defeat powerful enemies, and uncover the secrets behind Azra’s reign. Blending the classic side-scrolling action of arcade beat ’em ups with modern roguelite progression systems, Absolum delivers a fresh take on the genre. Players can unlock new skills, upgrades, and character enhancements across multiple runs while mastering dynamic combat, magical powers, and cooperative gameplay. Featuring beautifully animated visuals, handcrafted environments, and a rich fantasy setting, Absolum offers both replayability and strategic depth for solo players and co-op adventurers alike.
